چکیده

The concept of the Wigner function is used to construct a semi-classical kinetic theory describing evolution axial-current phase-space density spin-1/2 particles in relaxation time approximation. resulting approach can be study spin-polarization effects relativistic matter, particular, heavy-ion collisions. An expression for axial current based on classical treatment spin also introduced and we show that it consistent with earlier calculations using functions. Finally, derive non-equilibrium corrections tensor, which are define, first time, structure transport coefficients matter.

The Relaxation E ect in Dissipative Relativistic Fluid Theories

The dynamics of the uid elds in a large class of causal dissipative uid theories is studied. It is shown that the physical uid states in these theories must relax (on a time scale that is characteristic of the microscopic particle interactions) to ones that are essentially indistinguishable from the simple relativistic Navier-Stokes descriptions of these states. Thus, for example, in the relaxe...

Dynamics of dissipative two–level systems in the stochastic approximation

The dynamics of the spin–boson Hamiltonian is considered in the stochastic approximation. The Hamiltonian describes a two–level system coupled to an environment and is widely used in physics, chemistry and the theory of quantum measurement. We demonstrate that the method of the stochastic approximation which is a general method of consideration of dynamics of an arbitrary system interacting wit...

Causal Theories of Dissipative Relativistic Fluid Dynamics for Nuclear Collisions

In the early stages of heavy ion collisions, non– equilibrium effects play a dominant role. A complete description of the dynamics of heavy ion reactions needs to include the effects of dissipation through non– equilibrium/dissipative fluid dynamics. As is well–known [1], extended theories (which are hyperbolic and causal) of dissipative fluids due to Grad [2], Müller [3], and Israel and Stewar...

Numerical tests of causal relativistic dissipative fluid dynamics

We present numerical methods to solve the Israel– Stewart (IS) equations of causal relativistic dissipative fluid dynamics with bulk and shear viscosities. We then test these methods studying the Riemann problem in (1+ 1)and (2+ 1)-dimensional geometry. The numerical schemes investigated here are applicable to realistic (3 + 1)-dimensional modeling of a relativistic dissipative fluid. PACS 24.1...
